What is the Sate of RI thinking raising fees so extreme for non-residents? Do they not realize that tourism makes the world go round? Maybe not going to make a gigantic difference this season due to the fact many campers booked in advance, but they will be crying the blues for the 2020 season.

It is really disappointing. This may keep me from camping in RI next season.

They used to let you leave your license if you were just coming in for a few minutes. "Visitor" passes are usually meant to be used for full day, but no overnight. Just ridiculous, isn't it?! But, yes, even that fee increased when they did the campsite increase.
